Nate Sisco is the founder and head coach of Charleston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with 16 years on the mats, he earned his rank under Danilo Cherman within the legendary Nova União lineage.
Nate opened the academy in August 2025 to bring authentic, technical jiu-jitsu to the North Charleston community — a place where beginners feel welcome, kids grow into confident young athletes, and every student is treated like family.
